Built on Tempo
What each platform does for Mitoshi today — Tempo's chain and accounts, RedStone's signed prints, LayerZero's bridge, Robinhood Chain's Stock Tokens, Uniswap v4 — and where each stands on testnet.
Mitoshi runs on Tempo, a payments-first Layer 1 incubated by Stripe and Paradigm. Each row says what a platform does for the product and where it stands on testnet.
| Platform | What it does for Mitoshi | On testnet today |
|---|---|---|
| Tempo | The chain: every contract, every dollar (pathUSD, a TIP-20 stablecoin) and every network fee. Passkeys are accounts, access keys carry limits the chain enforces, another account can pay a call's fee, and the ERC-8004 registries and MPP are built in. | Live on Moderato (chain 42431). Its faucet gives each new account test dollars. |
| RedStone | The signed prints that settle every Window — three of five production signers — plus the fair-value guard's spot and the stock pools' reference. | Live. Its public gateways go dark in growing daily windows and stop on 29 October 2026; the authenticated ones wait on a key (availability). |
| LayerZero | The bridge: a Stock Token locked on Robinhood Chain mints its mirror on Tempo, and back. | Through Base Sepolia, both ways: Moderato → Base Sepolia in 20 s, Base Sepolia → Moderato in 23 s. |
| Robinhood Chain | Home of Robinhood's Stock Tokens: the lockboxes and the split-and-pause sender go there. | Not deployed yet: the deployer has no testnet ETH (availability). |
| Uniswap v4 | A pool per mirror against pathUSD, kept in a band around the share price by Mitoshi's hook; graduated memecoins' pools. | Replayed at mainnet's addresses on Moderato; stock pools opened, waiting on the first stock sync; a graduated memecoin trades in its pool. |
The chart's live line comes from Coinbase (crypto) and Alpaca (stocks). It settles nothing.
Why Tempo
- Dollars all the way down. Stakes, payouts and network fees are all pathUSD. There is no gas token to buy first.
- A passkey is an account. Tempo verifies WebAuthn signatures, so Face ID or a fingerprint signs a call — no extension, no seed phrase.
- One tap, bounded by the chain. An access key may call the engine and approve at most $25 a day for 24 hours (TIP-1011). Anything else it signs is refused.
- Someone else can pay the fee. Mitoshi's relay co-signs as the fee payer. It can't change your call or spend from your account.
- Agents and paid reads are native. The ERC-8004 identity and reputation registries are predeployed; MPP charges per request in pathUSD.
